How to access Family Services of the North Shore:
We know that the majority of people who access our services are referred by Professionals and Educators in our community and we want to make any referrals to our agency as easy as possible. The following is a quick reference on how to help the person you are helping get connected to the service they need.
Contacting our Intake Counsellor:
604-988-5281
9:00am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday.
When you refer someone to our Intake Counsellor, she will spend 10-15 minutes gathering basic information, understanding the situation, and getting them connected to the appropriate services. If the individual requires services not offered within our agency, she will make suggestions as to other agencies and services that might better fit his or her needs.
Note: Our intake counsellor will need to speak with the person who will be using our services to complete an intake assessment. We do not complete intakes from 3rd parties (e.g. doctors, social workers, etc)
