Counselling With Interns

Family Services of the North Shore is committed to making counselling accessible. Intern Counsellors provide fast-tracked, full-scale counselling services to children, youth, and adults on the North Shore, at a reduced rate of $25 per hour. Intern Counsellors are graduate students supervised by our Registered Clinical Counsellors.

Our interns, with guidance from clinical counsellors, provide support in the following areas:

Navigating life’s transitions
Creating healthier relationships
Enhancing emotional well-being
Learning coping skills
Accessing additional resources within the community
Other areas of focus, unique to each client
