Sponsor a Family
Due to the generosity of our caring community we have now received enough sponsors to cover all our clients that have signed up. However, we do get last minute families and individuals who need our help so you can still support with donations that will help:
- Provide a gift or gift card for a teen and help create a sense of belonging
- Ensure families enjoy holiday meals together by providing grocery gift cards
- Provide essentials like warm clothing and self-care items
Your support is greatly appreciated and we know that those struggling right now will have a brighter holiday because you.
Gift Basket Drop-off Day Information
Gift basket drop-off day is Tuesday, December 10, from 10am to 7pm at our Christmas Bureau in our Community Hub at Capilano Mall. The entrance to the Community Hub is via the 2nd floor parking garage off Hanes Avenue. Upon arrival, check in with our registration team who will be available to assist you with your gift basket.
Gift Basket Check List:
- Your completed tax receipt form and receipts (if you are unable to submit these online)
- Holiday gift basket with contents wrapped and ready to go
- Client familie’s ID number clearly marked on the outside of your gift basket. Please follow the one-box rule – if all items don’t fit in one box, clearly mark additional box(es) with ID number, and indicate number of boxes included (ie. 1 of 3, and 2 of 3 etc.)
- Gift receipts included, in case items need to be exchanged
- Grocery gift cards in an individual envelope clearly marked with your family’s ID number separate from the gift basket
