Learning Together Through Play – Afternoon
Our Learning Together Through Play drop in program is a place where you can play, learn, and connect with your children from birth to six years of age. Our experienced staff provide support and resources to give you the help you need to ensure your child has a healthy start in life.
First Time Participants:
For your first visit to our Thrive Family Centres you will need to fill out a registration form when you arrive. For your convenience you can download the form, fill it out and bring it with you. To download the form, click here.
All programs are first come-first served. Please see our capacity statement, participant rights and responsibilities, and our loving guidance policies. Regular Programing Schedule
- 1:00 - 1:50
- Play Time
- Play outside in our gated play ground, look at the goats, play in the sandbox. Explore inside and play with toys, playdough, and create arts and crafts.
- 1:50 - 2:00
- Clean Up & Hand Washing
- Model social responsibility to our children. During handwashing time, it is important to help your children line up, this will be an important social skill to have when they start kindergarten.
- 2:00 - 2:15
- Snack Time
- Enjoy a healthy snack together. Take a seat and wait for your table to be called up to be served food. This will help your child learn that we all must take turns.
- 2:15 - 2:30
- Story Time
- Join us as a group for songs and stories. If you think your child is not ready to participate, no problem, it is then time to leave the program for the day. There is a playground right across the street.
- 2:30 - 2:30
- Goodbye
- It is time to say goodbye to friends, new and old. We hope to see you soon!
